Our tasks
Founded in 1969, the French Association of Water Treatment Professionals is the only Professional Chamber that brings together all the key players working in the water treatment profession from point-of-entry (POE) to point-of-use (POU).
The French Association of Water Treatment Professionals is a professional network that works to serve consumers.
It has six main tasks:

To inform the public and raise awareness of the water refining profession, specifically as regards services, proven technologies, performance and service obligations

To co-opt the best professionals in the business with two objectives :
- Improving the quality of services
- Ensuring that all members respect the current obligations set forth in the internal Code of Ethics, as well as in the Charter of Commitment Towards Users

To contribute to advancing the regulation of the profession and to its diffusion

To represent the profession before French and European public authorities

To contribute to the development of French and European standardisation

To act as a mediator, according to the Hamon Act (2014), for all the water treatment profession from point-of-entry (POE) to point-of-use (POU).
